Naš vrt / Our garden

When I was writing about flower activities, I promised that I would show what looked like our garden in which the children planted vegetables and flowers.
Children are independently chosen the place where to plant, and all seedlings and seeds were brought to us by parents.

Početna faza / Initial phase:

Maćuhice i suncokreti / Pansies and sunflowers:

Krumpiri i luk / Potatoes and onions:

Suncokreti / Sunflowers:

 Zelena salata / Lettuce:

 Maćuhice / Pansies:

 Cikla / Beet:

Luk u cvatu / Onion in bloom:

 Mrkva / Carrot:

Mahune / Beans:

Tijekom ljetnih praznika sunce je, na žalost, uništilo naš vrt. Najesen ćemo vjerojatno posaditi nove biljke.

During the summer holidays, the sun is, unfortunately, destroyed our garden. In the autumn we will probably have to plant new plants.

  2. You've got a nice garden, it's a pity that excessive heat has destroyed it! I wish you success this Autumn! Good luck from Barcelona!

  5. Your garden is beautiful, Natasa! It's wonderful that the parents brought the seeds and seedlings and children chose where to plant them. It's too bad the sun destroyed it over the holidays. Great gardening experience for the children, though! Thanks for linking up with Montessori Monday and We Teach: Montessori! Deb @ LivingMontessoriNow.com

  6. I love your garden. SO beautiful! Unfortunately, we only have a patio, but started planting tomatoes, bell peppers, and strawberries this year and the kids love it :)
