Metenje

Kathy asked me to write my posts in the English language too. I believe that everyone who speaks English is easier to read posts in English language. Since I don't have much time for translation, and I'm no great expert for English language, I simply "threw" text in Croatian language in TranStar, and then copied to the post. I'm not sure about the translation quality (most translators do not translate 100% accurate), but I hope you'll understand what I wrote. Also I am not sure if I'll get every time to put the translation, but I'll try to make it as often as possible.

Metenje stola / Sweeping the table
Tray with accessories for sweeping the table looks like this ("waste - styrofoam that we received from parents, small box with little dot, a broom with spatula):

The child first must patch up a label from a small box on the table.

Zatim dijete treba oko naljepnice prosipati "otpad".
Then the child should waste "the waste" around the label.

After that waste should be swept in the direction of the label (the center) moving downwards in a clockwise direction.

When all the "waste" on the cup, the child is sweeping into the blades and return to vessel (if it is a real waste, the child throws it in the recycle bin)

Metenje poda / Sweeping the floor
We are doing exercise almost in the same way as sweeping the table.

Child pours "waste"  inside the line on the floor.

If part of the "waste" falls outside the line, child sweep inward (we are sweeping clockwise).

When all the "waste" is within the framework, a child sweeps it on the shovel and returned in the same container (when a real waste, the children throw it in the recycle bin).

For the sweeping exercise as "waste" can be used peel oranges or tangerines, beans, chickpeas, acorns, chopped paper or anything else that you have in kindergarten.

  1. Thank you for translating - sometimes it takes a long time for the translation to download, and sometimes it fails to laod the page altogether. I love these exercises. A good reminder of some excellent work to put on the shelves.
